Meet Pastor Apollo and His Family
In the fall of 1990 my wife, Kim, and I and our girls began our ministry at FRC. I had just graduated from Alliance Theological Seminary and left a youth ministry position at another Northern New Jersey church. I was eager to work under the gifted leadership of then head pastor of FRC, Pastor Dave Henion. However, the Lord had other plans. Three months into my stay at FRC, Pastor Dave received a "call" to plant a church and within six months he was gone. Without a head pastor, I was asked to assume many of Pastor Dave's responsibilities and by July of 1994 I was officially installed
God has moved in many wonderful ways and has had a host of people coming and going in these sixteen years. Yet, one thing has remained the same, the good news of God's love through his son Jesus Christ is the heart of the FRC ministry. It has been a great joy serving the Lord at a church where there is a genuine hunger and thirst for God and a lot of His love.
